If you’re already a Phillies fan then there isn’t any question as to why not.

Carlos Ruiz or “Chooch” as his fans call him, has consistently been a rock in the Phillies lineup.  Always able to get clutch hits as well as call the pitches for some of the best pitchers in baseball.  He has called two no-hitters, one of which was a perfect game pitched by Roy Halladay in 2010.

While he may be popular among fans, Chooch has performed in 2012 to earn national recognition as an All-Star.  He is leading National League catchers with a .353 batting average and has been the Phillies clean-up batter a number of times this season.
